Product Description Product Description Jet aerator design Usage A submersible, self-aspirating jet aerator that is intended for aerating and mixing of wastewater. The jet aerator is based on a submersible Flygt pump and a Flygt designed ejector system. Chain hose The chain hose is standard for S-installation. The hose keeps the chain taut when hanging from the holder on the suction pipe.

Installation Installation Precautions Before starting work, make sure that the safety instructions in the chapter Introduction and Safety (page 2) have been read and understood. DANGER: Electrical Hazard Before starting work on the unit, make sure that the unit and the control panel are isolated from the power supply and cannot be energized. -
Page 13: Torque Values
Installation P-installation Lifting equipment is required to handle the jet aerator. The lifting chain and the shackle should be in stainless steel and inspected every year. S-installation The minimum height between the lifting hook and the ground must be sufficient to be able to lift the jet aerator out of the tank. - Page 14 Installation • Check that the pump inflow is not disturbed and that air is not sucked into the pump. • Check that the starting jerk is in the correct direction. • Inspect periodically the fixing elements between the pump and the ejector system. NOTICE: Watch out for the return jet from the suction pipe when the machine stops.
