INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE INK SELECTOR
The Ink Selector enables the Machine to be inked in four different positions across
the width of the Stencil.
To apply Ink in one of the above positions operate the Ink Selector Lever until
the desired position shows as a yellow line on the Inking Indicator.
the Machine, lift the Hand Inking Lever and work it slowly backwards and forwards.

FOR USING
THE CONTINUMATIC INKER
To apply Ink automatically, simply lift
the Inker Switch and set the Indicator
Scale to its mid-position by means of the
Ink Control Knob.
Increase or decrease the Ink flow as
necessary.
Turn
Control
ANTI-CLOCKWISE
to
INCREASE
CLOCKWISE to DECREASE Ink flow.
After a little experience the operator
will be able to judge the correct setting
of the Indicator Scale according to the
amount of subject matter on the Stencil.

MECHANISM ONLY OPERATES WHEN
THE
FEEDING
MECHANISM
SWITCHED ON.

Switch so that
it
covers the Indicator
Scale Window.

STEP I
Push Paper Guide Wings fully down
wards.
Hook Center Paper Guide over
Pressure
Frame
Operating
clip its lower end to the Stay Rod.
Knob
and
STEP

Turn Handle to point vertically upwards.

Place pointed end of Control Unit Spindle
into its socket underneath Ink Selector;
rest Blade nearest
Frame Operating Shaft and push Spindle
fully into Socket.
Locate opposite end of
Spindle in V-groove on Handle side of
Machine and push
Spindle downwards
until it clips into position.

STEP 3
Adjust Blades laterally to suit matter
being printed.
Tighten Blade Locking
Knobs.
To remove Delivery Control Unit, push
Spindle away from Handle side of Machine
and withdraw complete unit. To remove
Center Paper Guide, unclip lower end
from Stay Rod and lift Guide clear of
Pressu re Frame Operating Shaft.
