• Small (640 x 480 pixels) and Large (1280 x 960
pixels) images use JPEG compression. CCD RAW
(1280 x 960 pixels) images are uncompressed.
• N refers to Normal quality, F to Fine quality.
• Image totals are based on our standardized
shooting conditions. Actual totals may differ
according to the shooting conditions,
• Do not remove the battery or remove a
CF card while the camera is writing to a
CF card, erasing images or reading from
a CF card.
• A CF card is a high-precision electronic
component. Do not bend, apply force to,
or subject it to shocks or vibrations.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or alter a
CF card.
• Moving a CF card rapidly between
temperature extremes will cause
condensation to form on the card and
may lead to a malfunction. To avoid
condensation, place the CF card into a
sealed plastic bag before moving it into a
different temperature zone and allow it
to adjust slowly to the new temperature.
If condensation forms on the CF card, put
it aside until the water droplets have
evaporated completely.
• Place the CF card in the supplied case for
storage.
• Do not use or store CF cards in the
following types of location.
- Locations subject to strong magnetic
fields
- Locations subject to dust or sand
- Locations subject to high humidity and
high temperatures
