4. Use of the product

4.1. Battery low
When the battery is low, the smoke detector warns you by emitting a repetitive beep and
flashing for around 30 days. Replace the batteries with one of the types recommended in the
paragraph on "Technical specifications"
- Remove the smoke detector from mounting bracket by turning it anticlockwise.
- Install the new battery as shown in point 1. Introduction to the product
- Test the alarm using the test button every time you change the battery.
4.2. Fault warning mode
If the smoke detector is not working properly, it moves into "fault warning" mode. Attempt
to clean the smoke detector (see maintenance). If you do not see any improvement and it
remains in fault mode, replace the smoke detector!
