How to remove the handle on Delta 3553LF? Instructions say remove set screw and pull handle up. I removed the set screw completely but can not pull the handle off with a reasonable amount of pull. Should use a pinch bar for more leverage?

If the handle on a Delta 3553LF faucet is stuck after removing the set screw, try the following steps:

1. Gently Wiggle the Handle – Move the handle back and forth while pulling upward to loosen it.
2. Apply Warm Water or Vinegar – If mineral buildup is causing the handle to stick, apply warm water or vinegar around the base and let it sit for a few minutes.
3. Use a Rubber Mallet – Lightly tap the handle with a rubber mallet to help release it.
