BEFORE FIRST USE Before using this appliance for the first time, please ensure you complete the following steps: • Remove all packaging and labels. CAUTION: Take extra care when washing the BLADE UNIT as the BLENDING BLADES • Inspect the product for any damage and check attached are very sharp. -

Replace the BLADE UNIT with the SPILL-PROOF LID or SIP & SEAL LID. Ensure the LID is tightly screwed on top. • The BLENDING JAR can be placed in the refrigerator for later consumption (time scale for consumption will depend on the ingredients chosen). .VonShef. -

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE CAUTION: Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow to cool. • To clean the MOTOR UNIT, wipe with a damp cloth. A multi-purpose spray cleaner may be used. CAUTION: Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or metal scourer pads as continued use will scratch the surface and make subsequent cleaning more difficult. -

• Pulse blending may be best suited for certain ingredients. Firmly press down on the BLENDING JAR once placed on the MOTOR UNIT rather than twist and lock. • Add a small amount of liquid and then re-blend. .VonShef. - Page 10 RECIPES STRAWBERRY & BANANA SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS METHOD Milk (150ml/5.2fl oz) Add the ingredients to the BLENDING JAR. Chopped banana (½) Attach the BLADE UNIT to the BLENDING JAR and Strawberries with stalks removed (x6) fit onto the MOTOR UNIT. Blend for 1 minute or until Ice cubes (x2) you are happy with the consistency.
