POWER STANDBY/

SETTING THE TIMER

POWER STANDBY
1. Press the button POWER/STANDBY (5) on the appliance or on the remote control (1), to turn on the appliance.
2. Choose the music source (CD, cassette, aux or radio) by pressing the FUNCTION SELECTOR (21) multiple times
until the desired function lights up on the display.
3. Set the volume using the VOLUME ADJUSTER (16) (- or +).
4. Set the preset equalizer (pass, classic, rock, pop or jazz) using the button EQ (19) on the remote control.
5. Press the button POWER/STANDBY (5) again to turn the applianceon or off.
SETTING THE TIMER
By using the timer function, you can turn the appliance on or off at a time of your choosing.
1. After you have set the time, press the button TIMER (20) for several seconds. "
the display and the numbers for setting the HOUR will blink (see graphic 1).
2. To set the hour please use the buttons TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH (FORWARD or REVERSE) (10/12).
3. Press the button TIMER (20) again and the numbers for setting the MINUTES will blink. To set the minutes please use
the buttons TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH (FORWARD or REVERSE) (10/12).
4. Press the button TIMER again to confirm the TURN ON TIME.
5. After setting the turn on time "TIMER ON", "
HOUR will blink (see graphic 2).
6. To set the time, please refer to steps 2 and 3. Press the button TIMER again to confirm the automatic turn off time
TIMER OFF.
7. After setting the turn on and turn off times, "TUNER" or "CD" will appear blinking on the display. Set the desired
music source "TUNER" or "CD" using the button TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH (FORWARD or REVERSE).
8. Press the button TIMER again and "VOL" will appear blinking on the display. Set the volume at which the music will
automatically be turned on using the button TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH (FORWARD or REVERSE) (16). Confirm your
entry by pressing the button TIMER.
9. After completing steps 1 through 8, "
set time with the desired music source and turn off again at the set turn off time.
Note: Each setting will be automatically saved if a button is not pressed within 10 seconds.
