Wall/Spike Lights

Important: This product should
be installed by a competent
person and in accordance with
the current IEE Wiring
Regulations. If in doubt consult
a qualified electrician.
WARNING
• Before installation, maintenance or lamp
replacement, ensure that the mains
supply to the luminaire is switched off
and the circuit supply fuses are removed
or the circuit breaker is turned off.
• Flexible cable must not be buried.
• Remove side cover undoing the 4 screws.
• Insert the Flexible Cable through the
waterproof gland attached to the side
cover.
NOTE
This appliance must be wired using 1mm
Flexible Cable, suitable for outside use.
• Strip back 35mm of the outer sheath of
the Flexible Cable.
• Cut back the green and yellow earth core
(as this fitting does not need an earth).
• Connect the Flexible Cable to the
terminal block as shown in Dia.1.

• Replace the cover using the 4 screws
ensuring the flat edge is at the bottom
of the fitting.
• Tighten the gland to ensure a waterproof
seal.
• To fit the PAR 38 lamp/s, insert the
rubber seal into the top of lamp holder,
ensuring that the outer rubber ridge is
pushed completely into the lamp fitting.
The lamp can then be screwed into the
fitting.
NOTE
The unit may be extended to another spike
light by removing the blank sealing plug
and inserting a suitable waterproof gland
into the threaded hole.
