Dieses Handbuch macht Sie mit der Ausstattung, Handhabung und Wartung des Bushnell Sentry Zoom-Spektivs
vertraut. Das einzigartige Design dieses Fernglases macht sich das optische System des durch Reflexionsspiegel und
Linsen nach Newton'scher Art gebrochenen Lichtstrahls zu Nutze. Dank dieser Anordnung zeichnet sich das kompakte,
nur 23 cm große Fernglas durch starke Vergrößerung und hohe Bildqualität aus. Sentry wird komplett mit Stativ /
Autofenster(?)-Adapter und Tragetasche ausgeliefert.

EFESTIGUNG AUF DEM TATIV
1. Stativ aus der Tasche nehmen.
2. Beine des Stativs ausbreiten und auf festen Untergrund stellen.
3. Für vertikale Einstellung Sperrring (7) durch Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn lösen. Nach Erreichen der gewünschten
Höhe Sperrring durch Drehen in die Gegenrichtung festziehen.
4. Spektiv durch Festziehen der Halterungsschraube (1) befestigen.
5. Für seitliche Einstellung oder Justierung der Neigung Hebel (2) am Schwenkkopf lösen und Fernglas in die
gewünschte Richtung drehen.
6. Zur Einstellung der Vertikalposition des Stativs Hebel (2) am Schwenkkopf durch Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn festdrehen.
7. Soll zwischen dem Stativ und dem Autofenster(?)-Stativ gewechselt werden, Befestigungsstück durch Lösen des
Schwenkkopfhebels (2) und der Schraube (3) abnehmen. Befestigungsstück (4) vom Stativ abnehmen und durch
Festziehen der Schraube (3) auf dem Autofenster-Stativ befestigen.

ENUTZUNG DES PEKTIVS
1. Fernglas aus der Tragetasche nehmen.
2. Schutzdeckel (8) und (10) abnehmen.
3. Zoom-Mechanismus (9) durch Drehen auf gewünschte Stärke einstellen.
4. Okular drehen, bis das Fernglas scharf eingestellt ist.

FLEGE UND ARTUNG
1. Das Spektiv Bushnell Sentry ist für Langlebigkeit und Wartungsfreiheit ausgelegt. Reinigen Sie den
gummibeschichteten Aufbau mit einem Stofftuch. Verwenden Sie dazu eine geringe Menge Gummischutzmittel.
2. Bringen Sie zur Reinigung der optischen Elemente mit einem Baumwolltuch einen dünnen Film von
Objektivreinigungslösung auf. Objektivreiniger nie direkt auf die Linse schütten.
3. Wird das Fernglas aus der Kälte in einen warmen Raum gebracht, kann sich die Linse beschlagen. Dies ist normal
und sollte nach etwa 1 Stunde verschwunden sein.
4. Fernglas nie in Wasser tauchen; es ist zwar wasserabweisend, jedoch nicht wasserdicht.

Herstellungsfehler. Die beschränkte lebenslange Garantie* ist Ausdruck unseres Vertrauens in die Materialien und die mechanische
Ausführung unserer Produkte und gewährleistet Ihnen einen lebenslangen zuverlässigen Kundendienst. Für den Fall, dass ein Mangel im
Rahmen dieser Garantie auftritt, werden wir das Produkt nach unserer Wahl reparieren oder austauschen, vorausgesetzt, dass Sie das
Produkt freigemacht zurückschicken. Von dieser Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden, die auf Missbrauch, unsachgemäße Behandlung,
Installations- oder Wartungsarbeiten, die nicht von einer autorisierten Bushnell-Kundendienstabteilung vorgenommen werden,
zurückzuführen sind.
Jeder Rücksendung in die USA oder nach Kanada im Rahmen dieser Garantie müssen folgende Dokumente und Angaben beigefügt werden:
1) Ein Scheck/eine Zahlungsanweisung in Höhe von 10,00 USD zur
Abdeckung der Porto- und Bearbeitungskosten
2) Name und Anschrift für die Rücksendung des Produkts
3) Eine Erläuterung des Mangels
4) Kaufbeleg
5) Das Produkt sollte zur Vermeidung von Transportschäden gut verpackt
in einem stabilen Versandkarton an die nachstehend aufgeführte
Adresse geschickt werden, wobei die Gebühren für die Rücksendung
im Voraus zu entrichten sind.

This manual will help familiarize you with the features, operations and maintenance of the Bushnell Sentry Variable
Power Spotting Scope. The unique design of the scope utilizes the folded light path Newtonian-style reflecting mirror
and lens optical system. This design allows the scope to provide high magnification and image quality in a compact,
9-inch long body. The Sentry comes complete with the tripod/car window adapter and carrying case.
A
TTACHMENT TO
1. Remove tripod from the case.
2. Spread the tripod legs and set on firm support.
3. To make a vertical adjustment, un-tighten the locking ring (7) by turning it clock wise. After selecting desired
height, secure the locking ring by turning it in the opposite direction.
4. Attach the spotting scope by tightening the mounting screw (1).
5. To make side to side or up and down adjustments, loosen the pan head lever (2) and turn scope to desired direction.
6. To set your tripod in vertical position, tighten the pan head lever (2) by turning it clockwise.
7. For switching between the tripod and the car window mount, remove the mounting unit (4) by loosening the pan
head lever (2) and unscrewing the bolt (3). Pull the mounting unit (4) from the tripod (5) and tighten the bolt (3)
to secure it on the car mount unit (6).

POTTING
1. Remove the scope from the carrying case.
2. Remove protective lens caps (8) and (10).
3. Rotate zoom mechanism (9) to the desired power.
4. Adjust the eyepiece until scope comes into focus.

ARE AND
1. Your Bushnell Sentry scope is designed to be durable and maintenance free. Clean the rubber-coated body with a
cloth rag using a small amount of rubber protectant.
2. When cleaning the optics, use a light coating of lens cleaning solution on a cotton cloth. Do not pour lens cleaner
on the lens itself.
3. Condensation on the lens may occur when bringing the scope in from the cold. This is common and within one
hour this condition should disappear.
4. Do not submerge the scope into water, as it is water-resistant but not waterproof.

Your Bushnell ® product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.
The Lifetime Limited Warranty* is an expression of our confidence in the materials and mechanical workmanship of our products
and is your assurance of a lifetime of dependable service. In the event of a defect under this warranty, we will, at our option,
repair or replace the product, provided that you return the product postage prepaid. This warranty does not cover damages
caused by misuse, improper handling, installation, or maintenance provided by someone other than a Bushnell Authorized
Service Department.
