1. INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this quick guide is to clarify how to store/restore contacts from a database in FoneSync 4.0 to a Nokia

2. CONFIGURING AND SYNCHRONIZING
Scenario: You have a Nokia 7110 phone with no contacts and you want to get your contacts from your computer to
your phone. So, you have installed FoneSync and there you have a database with contacts you wish to have in your
phone. The first thing you should do is to start FoneSync 4.0 and open the database in which you have the contacts.
Next, you have to enter the Synchronization Setup where you need to Add New Synchronization Point as follows:
1. Double-click on Add New Synchronization Point
2. Select Phone and click Next>
3. From Manufacturers select Nokia and From Models select 7110 and click Next>
4. Now select the connection type you wish to use and click Next>
5. Click Next> (or if you wish you can remove the tag from the Calendar)
6. If you selected Infrared as the connection type then activate the Infrared in your phone and point it to your
computer's Infrared port or if you selected cable then connect the cable to your phone (ensure that the phone is
turned on)
7. In International Dialling you most probably may just click Next>
8. In Roaming you can most probably select Next>
Now follow carefully the instructions on the next page on how to continue.
