Witter MZ60U Fitting Instructions

MATERIALS

A 1 Cross Bar
B 1 Side Arm
C 4 M10 x 40 x 1.5 Bolts, M10 x 1.5 Nylocks
D 2 M10 x 40 x 1.5 Bolts (x2), M10 x 40 x 3, M10 x 1.5 Nylock, M10 x 1.5 Cage Nut Assembly
ZE 1 Electrical Plate
ZN 1 Neck Option
FITTING
1. Firstly, loosen light clusters via 2 screws gently slide them rearwards to gain access to bumper clips.
2. Remove screws and fixings from within the wheel arch, underneath the light cluster fixings and from the underside of the
bumper. Pull bumper rearwards, unclipping it from its pop-fixings around the arches, finally un-clip the electrics to fog lights
or reversing sensors.
3. Remove crash beam and hand back to customer for use if towbar is ever removed.
4. Attach cage nuts to each of the sidearms (B), insert sidearms into chassis rails and secure with fixings (D).
5. Fit crossbar to sidearms using fixings (C).
6. Attach neck option and electrical plate and fully tighten all bolts to the required specification.
7. Secure bumper back to vehicle and carefully trim bumper using fig 1 as a guide.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
