Assembly

­ Remove walker from the box and open the frame to its maximum width (Fig. 1)
­ Insert the handle stems in the frame at the required height. Insert the bolt through the
handlebar from the inside of the frame (note hexagonal cut-out in frame to hold the bolt
head), then apply the washer and star wheel. Tighten securely and check that there is no
movement on the handle grip. Now repeat on the other handlebar.
­ The backrest locates in place with two spring buttons as shown in Fig 2.
­ Check the brakes operate effectively (as described in section 3) before each use.

Instructions for Using the Four Wheel Lightweight Walker

1. Unfolding
To unfold the walker, apply the brakes and push down on the handles; note that the folding side
brackets are horizontal when it is fully open. Fold the seat down and the walker is ready for use.
2. Walking
Unfold the walker and put the seat down (described above). Place the frame in front of you,
hold the handles and walk forward naturally. When the handle height is at the correct setting
your elbows should be slightly bent whilst you are walking.
