Installation

Start the computer.
1.
Connect Doro 225IPC USB phone to an available USB port.
2.
Wait until the automatic installation is complete. Restart computer if necessary.
3.
Install the softphone software you intend to use and set it so that you can use Doro

225IPC. If you want to use Skype, see Skype Installation and Skype with Doro225.
Please note!
Doro 225IPC may now be the standard unit for playing/recording audio and music, depending on
which operating system is being used. If you want to use another sound card/loudspeaker for playing/
recording audio/music you can make the necessary alterations via Start  Settings  Control panel,
Multimedia/Audio and Audio. If there is more than one USB port and the port is changed, Doro
225IPC will be seen as a new unit that is installed automatically. The keypad will work only if your
softphone software supports it.
