OPERATION
4.1
ADJUSTING THE BRAKE SCREW (Fig 2)
4.1.1
To lock the reel, turn the brake screw fully clockwise.
To unlock the reel turn the brake screw anticlockwise.
4.2
EXTENDING THE HOSE
4.2.1
Adjust the brake screw so that it is not locked but places slight
tension on the reel. This will prevent the hose from running off
the reel when you stop pulling the hose.
4.3.
RETRACTING THE HOSE.
4.3.1
When retracting the hose, always make sure the water supply
is turned off, make sure there is plenty of space to perform
the task. Free the hose's path of any obstructions and check for
kinks in the hose before reeling in.
4.3.2
Loosen the brake screw. Wind the hose in whilst guiding it
evenly from one side of the reel to the other to prevent the
hose bunching on one side.
4.3.3
When the task is complete, tension the brake screw to prevent
the stored hose unravelling.
4.3.4
Pull the handle and turn through 90° to store the handle safely.
5.
