CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power receptacle.
Installing the machine (Fig 1)
- Use suitable screws (not provided) to fix the power tool to the workbench or worktop at the 2 mounting holes (11).

Mounting the work rests (Fig 2 & 3)
- Clearly identify the right and left work rests (2) and do not interchange them.
- Mount the work rests (2) and lock them with the lock knob (12).
- Regularly check the clearance between the work rests (2) to the grinding wheel, and readjust as required. The
clearance to the grinding wheel may not exceed 2 mm.
Mounting the spark deflectors (Fig 4 & 5)
- Clearly identify the right and left spark deflectors (5) and do not interchange them.
- Mount the spark deflectors (5) and lock them with 1 set of cross screw M5x8/Spring washer/Flat washer.
- Regularly check the clearance between the spark deflectors (5) to the grinding wheel, and readjust as required.
The clearance to the grinding wheel may not exceed 2 mm.
Mounting the eyeshields (Fig 6 & 7)
- Clearly identify the right and left mounting rods (13) and do not interchange them.
- Mount the mounting rods (13) and the bracket, and then lock them with 1 set of hex bolt M6x14/ Flat washer.
- Install the eyeshields (8) on the top of the rods and secure them in position.
- Regularly check the position of the eyeshields (8), and readjust them if necessary.
Installing/changing the grinding wheels (Fig 8, 9 & 10)
CAUTION:
- The grinding wheels can become very hot during working process. Before replacing, allow the wheels to cool
down.
- When mounting and replacing grinding wheels, it is highly recommended to wear protective gloves.
- Loosen the 3 cross screws (14) of removable guard cover (4), then swing and remove the cover.
- Hold the grinding wheel (3) wearing protective gloves and unscrew the clamping nut (15) from the grinder spindle.
Note: The nut (15) on the left side of the machine has a left-hand thread.
- Remove the outer flange (16) and the grinding wheel from the spindle.
- The new grinding wheel is mounted in reverse order.
- Place the guard cover (4) firmly onto the housing and tighten with the 3 screws (14).
- You can dress used and out-of-centre grinding wheels with the wheel dressing tool (6) before continuing to use
them.
CAUTION:
- Clean the outer flange (16) and the spindle, and then check they are not damaged.
- Before switching on the machine, check that the grinding wheels are mounted correctly and that they can turn
freely.
- Do not use damaged, out-of-centre or vibrating grinding wheels. Damaged grinding wheels can burst and cause
injuries.
Switching On and Off (Fig 11)
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the tool, always check that the On/Off switch (9) actuates properly.
- To start the machine, push the On/Off switch (9) to the "I" position.
- To switch off the machine, push the On/Off switch (9) to the "O" position.
- Carry out a 1 minute test run at maximum speed in a safe environment with no load.
