    As a system, the combination of the products and the placement method used in the design and installation of the nVent ERICO System 3000 does not comply with any particular standard. However, the actual components of the System 3000 are in full compliance with certain standards (in terms of lightning current handling ability, material of construction, etc).

    Depending on site requirements, the downconductor(s) may have their upper terminations completed at a pre-specified end of the cable by nVent ERICO before shipment. These terminations will be protected by a short length of flexible PVC tube. It is VERY IMPORTANT that when removing these tubes, they are not removed with a knife or cut in any way as this will damage the outer layer of the termination.
