Setting up the Network Scanning Software

STEP 1: Install the MFL-Pro Suite using the CD-ROM
supplied with your MFC/DCP
This software is included on the CD-ROM supplied with your MFC/
DCP. To install the software, follow the steps in 'Installing the Driver
& Software for Network Interface Cable Users' section of the Quick
Setup Guide included with your MFC/DCP.
During the MFL-Pro Suite software installation you may see
the following screens.
For MFC-8420/8820D/8820DN/8220/8440/8840D/
8840DN3820CN/3420CN and DCP-8020/8025D/8025DN/8040/
8045D/8045DN
When this screen is displayed in the installation process, select
No and then click Next
Some MFC/DCPs with the NC-2200w cannot be found in the
search list during installation. In that case go back to the screen
shown below and set the node name of the NC-2200w manually.
You can see the node name on the Network Configuration page,
Test Button on page 1-4.
