OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (Continued)

Cleaning and Maintenance

NOTE: It is recommended to clean and charge the device after every use. This will greatly
prolong the life of the device and the batteries.
1. With the device unplugged from the charger, the power switch in the "OFF" position,
and the safety lock in the "LOCK" position, remove the filler cap.
2. If there is excess liquid product in the reservoir, pour the remaining liquid product back
into its original container.
3. Add approximately 2 to 4 fl oz (60 to 120 mL) of water to the tank. Replace the filler cap.
Shake the device gently to move the water around inside the reservoir.
4. Move the device to an area that is approved for liquid product use. Avoid waterways
and drainage areas. Point the device towards a targeted area use site listed on the liquid
product label. Move the safety lock to the "UNLOCK" position and the power switch to
the "ON" position and spray for approximately 30 seconds. This will clean the internal
components. When completed, move the power switch to the "OFF" position and the
safety lock to the "LOCK" position.
5. If there is still liquid in the reservoir, dispose of excess liquid per liquid product label.
6. If the liquid nozzle is clogged or needs to be replaced, place the liquid nozzle removal tool
over the liquid nozzle. Rotate the tool counter-clockwise until the liquid nozzle spins freely.
Continue to rotate until it can be fully removed.
7. To replace the liquid nozzle, put the nozzle into the hole and rotate clockwise. Be sure that
the liquid nozzle is going into the hole straight. There is a feature that prevents the liquid
nozzle from being overtightened. Once the liquid nozzle is assembled, the hole that the
liquid product flows out of should be facing upward.
Storage
1. Before storing the device, be sure the liquid product reservoir is empty.
2. Be sure the power switch is in the "OFF" position and the safety lock is in
the "LOCK" position.
3. Unplug the device from the charger.
4. Unplug the charger from the wall outlet.
5. Store the device flat on its base.
6. Store the device, charger, and any liquid products away from the reach of children in a
clean, dry location. Charge the device at least once per year to keep the batteries at an
adequate voltage. If the device has not been charged or used over several months, the
device can charge slowly.
