5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Disconnect from power supply before carrying out maintenance.
5.2. Empty dustbin periodically to avoid vacuum cleaner failure.
5.3. Clean the vacuum with water or mild detergent (wring the wash cloth out before cleaning to prevent water from entering the vacuum).
5.4. The vacuum is completely sealed at the time of manufacture. Attempting to open it may result in damage to the unit.
5.5. If any repair is required return to your Sealey Dealer.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Vacuum cleaner does not
work.
Suction power is low.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)
into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed
of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.

Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential
purchasers of products containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with

Possible Cause
Plug is not connected to the power supply or
the plug has a poor contact with the
Accessory socket.
Power switch is not on.
Blown fuse.
Too much dust in filter and dustbin.
Low battery power.

Solution
Check vehicle power supply or plug in again.
Check and make sure switch is on.
Replace 10A fuse located in front end of
plug.
Empty dustbin, clean filter refer to section
4.8.
Charge or replace car battery.
