• Do not submerge the unit in water or place under running water.
• Do not use any solvents, cleaning agents or abrasive pads/cloths to clean any parts of the unit.
• Use only a soft brush or cloth when cleaning any part of the unit.
• Do not leave water to stand in the tank for more than one week.
• Perform the weekly maintenance process (see above) before the unit is put away for storage.
• Wherever possible the unit should be stored in its original packaging.
• Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
If you experience any problems with your new humidifier, there may be a simple solution.
ISSUE
Humdifier fails to operate.
The indicator light is red and
no mist is produced.
The mist has a strange/
unpleasant smell.
The power light is green
but no mist is produced.
The mist output volume is low.
The unit is making a strange
noise.
The tank cap is very tight.

POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
Power cable not plugged in to
electrical outlet.
There is no water in the tank.
The unit is being used for the
first time.
The tank has been filled with
dirty water or the water has
been left in the tank for too long.
Too much water in the tank.
The transducer is dirty.
The tank has been filled with
dirty water or the water has
been left in the tank for too long.
The water level is too low.
The unit has been placed on an
unlevel surface.
The tank cap has been
overtightened.

SOLUTION
Plug power cable into an
electrical outlet.
Fill the tank with water as per
operating instructions.
Empty the water tank and leave
it in a cool place for 12 hours.
Empty the water tank, clean and
refill with cool, fresh water as per
maintenance instructions.
Empty some of the water from
the tank.
Clean base unit with white
vinegar as per operating
instructions.
Empty the water tank, clean and
refill with cool, fresh water as per
maintenance instructions.
Fill the tank with water as per
operating instructions.
Place the unit to a level surface.
Remove the cap and add a
small amount of liquid soap to
the cap gasket to lubricate.
