Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful
interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.

Radio Frequency Exposure Safety

The Iridium Edge Pro is not intended to be used in the vicinity of the human body. Users are advised
to maintain at least 20 cm (7.87 inches) distance from the device when the device is in operation.
The device should only be used in a manner that minimizes the potential for human exposure.
2.4

Usage On Board Aircraft

The Iridium Edge Pro has not been qualified or tested for operation in aircraft. In the United States,
use of the device is subject to regulation including 47 C.F.R. 25.285(a), governing use of the device
only by the pilot or with pilot consent. Learn about all of the rules, regulations and laws governing
your use of the device before attempting to use on an aircraft.

Industry Canada Notice Statements

This section contains Industry Canada (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada)
notice statements.
2.5.1 Antenna Statement
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a
type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce
potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that
the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful
communication.
2.5.2 License Exempt
This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject
to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired
operation of the device.

European Union

The Iridium Edge Pro conforms to European regulatory guidelines as per the Declaration of
