le during the therapy course, the
adjustable abduction inhibitor belt
can be used. It has an insert sleeve
for exchangeable stages, with the
help of which an undesired adduction
of the hips can be limited. A shorter
stage is already enclosed within the
belt, a longer stage is enclosed with
the Pavlik bandage. The stages can
also be shortened when required. To
guarantee a correct fit of the foot
parts, the three fasteners for the
instep, above the heel and around the
calf should not be applied too loosely.

All belts can be shortened using
a pair of scissors. How ever, make
sure to leave enough excess end.
Keep in mind that the belts might
need to be changed during the
course of the therapy. After the
final length of the belts is set,
the ends with the hook and loop
fasteners of the padded flaps
must also be fixed.
