Playing music is not possible in this mode. You can, however, connect the the MP3
player's audio output to the audio adapter (1) anytime.
The FM transmitter supports SD/MMC cards with a maxium capacity of 4 GB.
Media have to be formatted in FAT32.
Due to the great variety of systems with USB and SD/MMC card interfaces and their
different functions, some of which are producer-specific, we cannot guarantee that all
media will be recognised and that all the operational functions are available in this CD
tuner.
In case the storage medium can not be recognized, pull it out and plug it in again.
• Connect your USB flash drive to the USB connection (5) or plug in a SD- or MMC memory card to the
SD/MMC card slot (9).
As soon as a new storage medium is plugged in during operation, the FM transmitter auto-
matically switches over to this new medium.
• Alternatively, you can also plug in the earphone output of your audio player (e.g. MP3 player) to the audio
adapter (1).
When you connect a device to the audio adapter (1), you can no longer play music via the USB
connection (5) or the SD/MMC card slot (9).
• Connect the FM transmitter to the cigarette lighter. You may have to turn on the ignition in order to be sure
that the cigarette lighter is energised.
In the case where your cigarette lighter is not automatically turned off when turning off the
ignition, you have to turn off the FM transmitter manually using the ON/OFF button (2). Otherwise
it is likely that the vehicle battery will discharge.
• In order to turn on the FM transmitter, push the ON/OFF button (2) to the position ON.
• The display (10) shows the receiving frequency currently set.
• Make your car stereo scan for a free receiving frequency that does not receive any other station.
• Set the receiving frequency found using the frequency setting buttons (3 and 8).
• Start playback by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button (6). Pressing this button again will pause the playback.
• Press the button >> (7) to jump one track ahead.

• Press and hold the button >> (7) to increase the volume.
• Press and hold the button << (4) to decrease the volume.
• Press the ON/OFF button (2) to turn off the device after using.
The FM transmitter features a built-in memory. When turning on the FM transmitter again, it will
automatically play the track that was played before it was turned off, starting from the beginning.
The receiving frequency currently set will also be saved.
Fuse replacement
If a fuse needs to be replaced you need to replace it with a fuse of the specified type and nominal current (see
"technical data").
Do not repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Unscrew the head of the plug.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
