OPERATION

Starting Operation
Observe the mains voltage! The voltage of the power supply must correspond
!
with the data given on the nameplate of the battery charger.
1. Charging the battery
The charging procedure starts as soon as the mains plug of the battery
charger is inserted into the socket supply and the battery pack is slid into the
charger. The green light will then turn on, which means the connection to the
main supply is ok.
When charging the battery pack, the red light will be lit, the green light will
flash until the battery is fully charged. Once the battery is full, the two lights
will be on without flashing.
Note: The charging procedure is only possible when the battery temperature is

within the correct range.

2. Remove the battery and pull out the plug
When the battery pack is fully charged, please remove the battery from the
charger immediately,and then pull out the plug. It will allow you to save power,
and will maximize the life of the battery.
Troubleshooting

Continuous lighting of the battery charge green light

Battery not (properly) inserted
Battery contacts contaminated
Battery temperature is outside of

Corrective Measure
Properly insert battery into battery
charger
Clean the battery contacts (e.g. by
inserting and removing the battery
several times) or replace the battery
Ensure that battery temperature is
between 0º - 45º (let it cool off or warm
up at room temperature before charging)
Replace the battery
Insert mains plug (fully) into the
socket outlet
Check the mains voltage;have the
battery charger checked by an
authorized after-sales service agent
