∙
Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity (e.g. sanitary rooms, damp
basements) or in living rooms and rooms in which persons are present.
∙
Place the device in dry places protected from water. When used directly on
the floor, the device should not be placed in floor depressions to protect it
from water accumulation.
∙
Outdoors, the device should be approx. 15 cm above the ground. This enables
an ideal detection and sound range.
∙
For best results, place the device so that it points in the direction from which
the animals are coming.
∙
For best results, make sure that the device is not covered by any other objects.
These would reflect or absorb the sound waves.
∙
Select a location with sufficient sunlight so that the solar panel on top can
charge unhindered for as long as possible.

SET UP AND OPERATION

The VOSS.sonic 2000 is operated with three AA 1.2 V, 400 mAh NiMh rechargeable batteries. The
rechargeable batteries are already in the device when it is delivered.
Sensitivity dial - Sens.
The dial "Sens (3) controls the setting of sensitivity and distance. Turning the dial changes the
range and protection zone.
To scare small animals, turn the "Sens - dial all the way to the right.
Frequency dial - Frequ.
The dial "Freq (6) controls the frequency. Turning the dial changes the frequency. You have the
choice between 5 different frequencies:

5 13.5-23.5 + flash
To switch on the device, turn the dials (3 & 6) to the desired setting:
When the device is switched on, a red control LED in the upper half of the motion detector (5) lights
up for approx. 5 seconds.
After another 25 seconds, the device is completely ready for operation.
After triggering, a short click is audible and the control LED in the upper half of the motion
detector (5) lights up red. The device then emits the set sound frequency for approx. 9 seconds.

Foxes, wild boars, deer
small rodents, rats, martens, badgers, otters
frightens birds in particular
A frequency mix of all levels and the flash is active. This is
the best setting as all the functions of the device are used.
