8. Fitting the hoist arm
Cut both hoist arm pipes equally much, according to picture.
NOTE! Give an after treatment of the cut to take away
sharp edges from in- and outside of pipes.
9. Cord
The lenght of the cord shall be shortened correspodingly to how
much the hoist arm has been shortened.
The yellow plastic marker, at the top, is to show the user maximum
position of the lifting device.
Assemble the lifting device according to instructions on page 27.
Thread the cord inside pipe of the hoist arm and over the pulley.
Let it run through the lifting device and in through the cord hole in
the pulley housing. Place the plastic stopper on the cord and tie a
knot, according to illustration.
Mount the pulley housing on the hoist arm.
The plastic stopper must be mounted
on the cord for a safe fi xing!
10. Mount the hoist arm
Mount the hoist arm in its attachment on the base and tighten the screws.
NOTE! Do not tighten the screws too much, or you will sqeeze
the attachment.
11. Angle adjustment
Adjust the maximum angle of hoist inside the vehicle,
taking the vehicle interior (windows etc.) into con-
sideration.
Tighten the two locking screws for rotation.
Remount the plastic covers.
12. Power connection
The red cable of the hoist shall be connected to bat-
tery plus.
Black cable shall be connected to ground near hoist.

13. Check-up
Test run the hoist with the wheelchair a couple of
times to ensure that the installation is properly car-
ried out.
