Control panel: Switching on for the first time Insert the plug in mains socket to switch on. The display lights will light on. The fridge compartment temperature is pre-set to 4°C but can be set changed to desired value by user. Important: When you change the set temperature, wait approximately 8 hours to allow the appliance to reach and maintain the new setting. Storing frozen food Your freezer is suitable for the long-term storage of commercially frozen foods and also can be used to freeze and store fresh food. For storing home-frozen fresh food refer to the storage-life guide on the door-liner. If there is a power failure, do not open the door.
Defrosting A) Fridge compartment The fridge compartment defrosts automatically. The defrost water runs to the drain tube via a collection container at the back of the appliance (Fig. 4). During defrosting, water droplets may form at the back of the fridge compartment where a concealed evaporator is located.
