    1.6 Disassembly and Assembly Procedures This section provides disassembly and assembly procedures for the Compaq TFT450 Flat Panel Monitor. Before you begin any of these procedures, be sure to turn off the power to the monitor, computer system, and other attached devices; then disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet.

If you have removed the EMI shield, the controller board, and the inverter boards, lift off the LCD panel (spare part no. 170423-001).
