Summary & Capacities The Agriweld Bag Cutter (ABC) is a hydraulically operated, front mounted implement for handling and cutting fertiliser/seed/feed bags. It is designed to fit any forklift/loader (specified on order) with a minimum lift capacity of 3000kgs for a twin ABC or 2000kgs for a single ABC, by use of the relevant bracketing to suit each intended forklift/loader.
Agriweld could have detrimental effects to the construction or functions of the Agriweld ABC. Agriweld shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the use of spare parts or accessories and ancillary equipment not supplied or approved by Agriweld.
Take extra care when attaching and detaching the ABC bag cutter to/from the forklift/loader. Be aware of your surroundings and watch out for wandering individuals. Ensure that the forklift/loaders hydraulic system is in full working order before starting work. Never allow any person to stand between the forklift/loader and the ABC during connection or at any time unless the forklift/loader is secured against rolling away by use of a parking brake and/or wheel chocks and the engine is turned off.

2. Before you attempt to pick up any bags, ensure the ABC bag lift arms are in their lowest position on the loader hydraulics with the bag cutters in the folded back position. 3. Carefully locate the bag via the bag loops on to the ABC arms. Ensure the bag loops are located fully up to the “stop”...
DANGER: Please ensure you position the ABC bag cutters facing towards a wall or building side to prevent trip hazard and potential impalement when not in use. DANGER: The ABC cutter blades are sharp and pointed. Risk of injury is possible if machine not positioned safely when not in use.

Hydraulic Diagram Throttle Valves on Main Lift Rams A & B To adjust the speed of lifting and lowering a bag, adjust Throttle valves anti-clockwise to increase speed and clockwise to decrease speed. Always adjust both to the same setting. Check Valve Check Valve (2 of 3)
VALVE ADJUSTMENTS Sequence valve (C) - Knife retract pressure Anti-clockwise = Reduce pressure. Clockwise = Increase pressure. If the knives retract before the bag has been cut, increase pressure on valve A. Sequence valve (D) Knife advance timing When lifting the bags, if the knives advance before the arm reaches maximum height, adjust valve D clockwise for more pressure until correct timing is achieved.

Throttle Valve (Knife ram X) This Throttle Valve controls the advancing and retraction speed of the Knives. To reduce speed of knife advance/retract = turn valve anticlockwise. To increase speed of knife advance/retract = turn throttle valve clockwise.
