TO REPLACE BATTERIES
Due to the Cat's Try Me Feature (she moves in the packaging) the
batteries may be empty when you buy the Cat. In this case please insert
new batteries. Pull back the plush flap on the bottom of the Cat. Use a
Phillips/cross head screwdriver to loosen screw in battery compartment
cover (screw stays attached to cover) on the bottom. Insert 3 x 1.5V
"C"/LR14 alkaline batteries. Replace cover and tighten screw. (SEE #1)
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
Please retain this information for future reference. Batteries should be replaced by
an adult.
CAUTION:
1. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to
insert item correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.
2. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon-zinc) with
alkaline batteries.
3. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
4. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.
5. Do not short circuit the supply terminals.
6. Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it
away from other electrical equipment. Reset (switching off and back on again or
removing and re-inserting batteries) if necessary.
7. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of battery.
Always remove from the product before recharging. Recharge batteries under
adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
To clean your CAT's fur, gently brush her with a cloth or soft brush to loosen
any dirt. Then use a slightly damp cloth to remove stains.
- DO NOT PUT IN THE WASHING MACHINE
- DO NOT SUBMERGE IN WATER
- DO NOT GET WET EXCEPT A DAMP CLOTH ON THE FUR
- TO PREVENT STAINING THE FUR, WIPE DIRT OFF IMMEDIATELY
- IF THE CAT GETS WET, REMOVE THE BATTERIES AND DRY THE FUR
- ONCE COMPLETELY DRY, REPLACE THE BATTERIES
- DO NOT USE DETERGENT OR STAIN REMOVERS ON THE FUR

FURREAL FRIENDS Cats are lifelike and affectionate pets that respond to
your touch! Tickle their cheek and they'll lean into your hand and purr. Pet
their soft, silky fur and watch as they sit up and down - but watch out if you
grab their tail!
FURREAL FRIENDS are fully animated from the top of their head to the tip of
their tail. 6 sensors are specifically placed to encourage natural interaction
between you and them.
Be sure to take good care of your Cat by following the instructions in this
booklet!
GETTING STARTED
Your FURREAL FRIENDS Cat consists of the following parts: (SEE #2).
HOW TO PLAY WITH YOUR FURREAL FRIENDS CAT
To turn the Cat on, slide the ON/OFF/TRY ME switch to "ON". (SEE #3)
Once your Cat is turned on, she will lay down. (SEE #4)
Your FURREAL FRIENDS Cat is just like a real cat in many ways. If you pet your
Cat gently or scratch her head or tickle her cheeks, you will make her
happy. The following illustrations show how you can pet your Cat.

Please note that the Cat often moves up and down between a sitting
position and a crouching position. This happens randomly.
