SafeTRAC System Information
Verifying Proper System Operation
You can verify your SafeTRAC system is installed and operating proper y by verifying that:
When the vehicle ignition is turned on, the system beeps once and illuminates the green power
indicator.
During vehicle operation, SafeTRAC sounds the warning and illuminates the RED alert LED when
the vehicle leaves its lane.
The warning alert sound and LED are
not signaled when the brakes are applied, or either turn
signal or the emergency flashers are on.
Pressing the operator mute button silences any current alert, and prevents the alert from
sounding for the next three minutes. Pressing the mute button again clears the mute, allowing
alerts to sound.
