5.46 INTERRUPTEUR COUPE-BATTERIE
L'interrupteur coupe-batterie (1) permet de
déconnecter la batterie du circuit électrique.
- Pour déconnecter la batterie, tourner l'interrupteur
(1) sur la position (A) = OFF.
- Pour connecter la batterie, tourner l'interrupteur
(1) sur la position (B) = ON.
IMPORTANT : Ce véhicule est équipé de
l'interrupteur coupe-batterie qui permet à la
batterie de se déconnecter du circuit électrique.
L'interrupteur coupe-batterie n'est pas un
interrupteur de sûreté et ne peut pas être utilisé
pour arrêter le moteur.
Ne pas agir sur l'interrupteur coupe-batterie
quand le moteur tourne : couper le moteur
et attendre une minute environ avant d'agir
sur l'interrupteur coupe-batterie pour ne pas
provoquer de graves dommages au système
électrique du véhicule.
IMPORTANT : Avant de tourner l'interrupteur
coupe-batterie sur la position OFF, attendre
environ 1 minute après avoir arrêté le moteur
(key-off). Cela permet aux boîtiers de s'arrêter
correctement.
Après avoir tourné l'interrupteur coupe-batterie
sur la position ON, attendre environ 10 secondes
avant de mettre en marche le moteur. Cela permet
aux boîtiers de fonctionner correctement.
ATTENTION : Débrancher la batterie avant
d'intervenir sur le système électrique.

5.46 BATTERY CUT-OFF SWITCH
The battery cut-off switch (1) allows the battery to be
disconnected from the electrical system.
- To disconnect the battery turn the switch (1) to
position (A) = OFF.
- To connect the battery turn switch (1) to position
(B) = ON
IMPORTANT: This vehicle is equipped with a
battery cut-off switch that allows the battery to be
disconnected from the electric system.
The cut-off switch is not a safety switch, and
cannot be used to stop the engine!
Never use the battery cut-off switch when the
engine is still running: Switch-off the engine and
wait at least 1 minute before activating the cut-off
switch, to avoid serious damage to the vehicle
electric/electronic system.
IMPORTANT: Before turning the battery cut-off
switch to the OFF position, wait at least 1 minute
from the last engine stops (key - off). This allows
the various control units to disconnect properly.
After turning the battery cut-off switch to the ON
position, wait at least 10 seconds before turning
the ignition key to start the engine. This allows the
various control units to operate correctly.
CAUTION: Always disconnect the battery before
any intervention on the electrical system.
