9 Care and Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance of the smartphone
Please follow the instructions from the manufacturer to clean and maintain your smartphone.
Cleaning and Disinfection of CardioSecur
Clean your CardioSecur with a slightly dampened towel. In most cases cleaning with water and
soap will be sufficient. Liquids on the casing must instantly be wiped off with a dry towel.
Warning: Never clean CardioSecur with benzene, benzine, paint thinner or concentrated alcohol.
To disinfect CardioSecur, wipe it off with a disinfectant. For disinfecting CardioSecur use a non-
aggressive solution. Recommended disinfectants (for superficial disinfection as recommended
in the respective manufacturer's user manual) are Helipur® H plus N and Sagrotan® med
concentrate.
Warning: Never dip CardioSecur or its parts into a cleaning liquid, and do not sterilize CardioSecur
in a steam sterilizer (autoclave) or in a gas sterilizer (ethylene oxide, formaldehyde, ozone etc.).
Maintenance of CardioSecur
Warning: Do not open CardioSecur. CardioSecur does not contain any parts that need to be
maintained by the user.
