Using the appliance

The VECTOR POWER EDITION is a multi-purpose appliance.
It is suitable for use in living areas, hobby rooms, cellars, workshops, garages and in yards -
anywhere where dirt can accumulate.
Fluids (water-based) can be vacuumed from the floor or extracted from containers.
It is also suitable to remove blockages in drains and other outlets with the aid of the siphon
nozzle (optional).
General preparation/assembly of the appliance
Unpack the appliance, remove all packaging material and identify the individual parts. For packaging
reasons, the castors are packed separately and must be fitted to the appliance before use.
Fitting the castors
Open the fastening clip and lift off the motor assembly. Remove the accessories. Insert the pins in
the bottom of the container and press on the castors to their fullest extent. Place the container on
the castors and check the correct function.
Mounting the motor assembly
Set the motor assembly on the container so that the power switch is positioned above the suction
inlet. Press the two securing clips home.
Connecting the suction hose
Inset the suction hose into the suction inlet so that the markings on the hose and the inlet
correspond to each other on the button engages. The desired accessory can then be fitted. The
suction hose can be subsequently removed by twisting.
Retaining the cable
After use, the cable can be coiled by hand and secured under the carrying handle.

Wet vacuum cleaning

Notes!
Liquids can be extracted directly from containers or sumps using the suction hose or the suction pipe.
When extracting liquids from containers in which the level is higher than the container of the
appliance and whose volume is larger than the capacity of the container, the liquid can continue to
flow when the container is full and the float valve is closed. In such cases, extract in batches,
emptying the container in between.
After extraction, remove the suction pipe from the liquid and hold the suction pipe and hose pointing
upwards (to prevent the continued flow of the liquid) before switching off the motor.
After extracting liquids, clean and dry the container and all used parts.
