To stop the beeping of a Firehawk CO5B carbon monoxide alarm:

1. Identify the beeping pattern:
- Three beeps every minute indicate the end of life.
- Two beeps every minute indicate a fault.

2. Do not open the alarm—there are no user-serviceable parts.

3. To stop the alarm:
- Remove it from the baseplate to turn it off.

To dispose of the alarm:

- Return it to the manufacturer at the address provided in the manual.
