UEM provides A/D and D/A conversion of the in-phase and quadrature receive and trans- mit signal paths and also A/D and D/A conversions of received and transmitted audio sig- nals to and from the user interface.

The UPP contains internal SRAM with 2 Mbit (optional: 4Mbit or 8Mbit). The UPP will not be covered here.
