    2. Installation 1. Remove the AC controls from below the radio. 2. Remove the screw from the radio. 3. Unplug the main radio connector and use the provided T-harness to plug into the vehicle then into the radio. Run the twisted extension down near the drivers kick panel.

  • Page 6 7. Remove the inner floor cover of the trunk area. 8. Remove the bottom cloth panel on the back of the rear seats. Then remove the plastic panel. 9. Remove the driver’s side rear door running board panel..
  • Page 7 10. Remove the panel behind the handle and remove the two screws. 11. Remove the push clip from the back panel by latch base and remove the panel. 12. Remove the driver’s side rear quarter panel.
  • Page 8 13. It is not necessary to completely remove the left top quarter panel, disengage clips to gain access to the wiring that is needed. BE CAREFULE, some vehicles can be equipped with side curtain airbags. 14. Above is the connectors needed, use provided t-harness to tap into the vehicle wiring harness. Also connect the ground to the screw shown above.
  • Page 9 15. Remove the top and side panels of the lift gate. 16. Remove the screw in the handle pocket. Remove the handle pocket. Use the provided hole saw to make a hole in the blank space on the pocket front for the rear button. 17.
  • Page 10 18. Remove both the left and right factory struts and using the factory hardware, install the new powered struts. 19. Use the grommet on the body of the rear of the vehicle to run the new wiring for the power struts on both the left and right side of the vehicle.
  • Page 11 21. The wiring that was connected in the front of the vehicle can be ran to the rear of the vehicle as shown in the photo. 22. Run all wiring to the rear quarter panel. Plug in all connectors and mount control box to the quarter panel with the hardware provided.
