    I.UNIT DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS BLANCONE ARCUS LED bleaching device is designed to whiten the solid tooth ® tissue by photoactivation of a whitening gel used in dentistry. The appliance should only be used by a qualified dentist and in a dental practice. The device consists of a Bleaching Head, Stand, Fixing bracket and a Power Adapter.

  • Page 7 SAFETY MEASURES AND RISKS The device must be used in strict accordance with the Operating Instructions Manual. 1. Electrical safety Before starting the appliance, make sure that the voltage and the type of plug correspond to the mains supply in the country. Electrical safety is ensured by class II protection against electric shock according to EN 60601-1.
  • Page 8 3. Fire safety - Keep the device away from solvents, flammable liquids and powerful heat sources. - Do not expose to direct sunlight. - Do not allow liquids and detergents to enter the device, as this may cause a short circuit and fire or cause potentially dangerous damage.
  • Page 9 6. What to do before bleaching: - Talk to the patient to clarify the patient’s status and explain the prohibitions and risks and to answer any questions. - Familiarization of the patient with the content of the “Informed Consent” and its mandatory signing by the patient.

    V. INSTALLATION BLANCONE ARCUS BUILT-IN is designed to be mounted with a fixing bracket to the vertical arm ® of the dental unit. 1. Unpack the transport box, remove the components and initially assemble the fix- ing bracket to the dental unit. Make sure the diameter of the bracket matches the diameter of the dental unit vertical arm.

Make sure that the straight arm can be moved up and down for precise positioning. 5.     VI. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION The BLANCONE ARCUS+ bleaching device should be placed in a suitable position around ® the patient and the dental unit. See the positioning examples (Section IX). The bleaching head must be in the same vertical plane and parallel with the arc of the teeth with a distance between 5-15 cm.

    To Stop the bleaching device at any time press the START / STOP button. If the device is not manually stopped it will stop after the selected time has elapsed. Note that the fan will continue to work for some time in order to cool down the unit.

PREPARATION FOR WORK WITH PATIENTS Before starting work with the bleaching device, insulate the patient’s non-calcified soft tissue, place a cover or protective napkin on the face, apply protective UV cream and put on protective glasses. Bleaching gel is applied to the teeth surface according to the direc- tions for use outlined by the gel manufacturer.

DESCRIZIONE E FUNZIONI DELLA LAMPADA La lampada sbiancante a LED BLANCONE ARCUS è progettata per lo sbiancamento dei tessuti duri ® dentali tramite la fotoattivazione di un gel sbiancante usato nella pratica odontoiatrica. Il dispositivo può essere utilizzato esclusivamente da dentisti qualificati nello studio odontoiatrico. Il dispositivo consiste di testa sbiancante, stativo, staffa di fissaggio ed adattatore di alimentazione.

PREPARAZIONE ALL’USO CON I PAZIENTI Prima di iniziare le operazioni del dispositivo per lo sbiancamento, isolare i tessuti molli del paziente, posizionare una copertura o un panno protettivo sul volto, applicare crema protettiva contro i raggi UV e indossare occhiali protettivi. Il gel sbiancante viene applicato sulla superficie dei denti secondo le istruzioni per l’uso indicate dal produttore del gel.

BESCHREIBUNG UND FUNKTIONEN DER LAMPE Die LED Bleachinglampe BLANCONE ARCUS+ ist für die Aufhellung der harten Zahngewebe durch ® die Lichtaktivierung eines Bleichgels entworfen, das in der zahnärztlichen Praxis verwendet wird. Das Gerät darf nur von qualifizierten Zahnärzten in der Zahnarztpraxis verwendet werden. Das Gerät besteht aus einem Bleaching-Kopf, einem Stativ, einer Halterung und einem Netzadapter.

Elektrische Sicherheit Vor dem Start des Geräts muss sichergestellt werden, dass die Spannung und der Anschlusstyp der Strom- versorgung des Verwendungslandes entsprechen. Die elektrische Sicherheit wird von der Schutzklasse II gegen Stromschlag garantiert, wie im Standard EN 60601-1 festgelegt.

    V. INSTALLATION Die Lampe BLANCONE ARCUS ist entworfen, um mit einer Halterung am vertikalen Pfosten der ® Behandlungseinheit montiert zu werden. 1. Öffnen Sie die Schachtel, entfernen Sie die Bauteile und beginnen Sie mit der Monta- ge der Halterung an die Behandlungsein- heit.

    VIII. VORBEREITUNG ZUM GEBRAUCH AN DEN PATIENTEN Vor dem Beginn der Arbeit mit dem Gerät für das Bleaching müssen die weichen Gewebe des Patienten isoliert werden. Positionieren Sie eine Abdeckung oder ein Schutztuch auf dem Gesicht, tragen Sie eine Schutzcreme mit UV-Filter auf und tragen Sie eine Schutzbrille. Das Bleaching-Gel wird nach der vom Hersteller des Gels angegebe- nen Gebrauchsanleitung auf die Zahnoberfläche aufgetragen.

DESCRIPTION ET FONCTIONS DE LA LAMPE La lampe de blanchiment à LED BLANCONE ARCUS est conçue pour blanchir les tissus dentaires ® durs par photoactivation d’un gel blanchissant utilisé en cabinet dentaire. Le dispositif peut être utilisé exclusivement par des praticiens qualifiés en cabinet dentaire. Le dispositif comprend une tête blanchissante, un support, un étrier de fixation et un adaptateur de courant.

El dispositivo debe ser utilizado únicamente por dentistas cualificados en una consulta odontológica.
