    The ThermoCube PAO chiller is a thermoelectric temperature control system with full PID control of both heating and cooling. The wetted surfaces of this version of the ThermoCube are made from stainless steel or aluminum with Viton o-rings, making it compatible with all hydrocarbons based or silicone based coolants such as PAO.

    ECTION ______________________________________________________________ PERATION The ThermoCube is operated via the control panel located on the front panel. The control panel has a 16-character LCD display and four input keys: UP, DOWN, ENTER, and START. These keys work as follows: Action Pressing the UP key raises the parameter value displayed.

    If temperature control at one temperature is desired, follow the steps below. 1) Turn on the ThermoCube and wait for display to read TEMP. 2) Press the UP or DOWN keys to change SETTEMP1 to the desired set point.

    PTIONS AND UMBER The ThermoCube PAO is configured with many standard options, including: -CPM (metal CPC fittings), - ES (Enhanced RS232 communications), -EF (External Fluid Filter), -SS (all stainless steel plumbing and tank), -LT (Low Temperature operation), -HT (High Temperature operation) and -DC (Dry Contact alarms).

    NHANCED OMMUNICATIONS TANDARD ThermoCube PAO comes with an Enhanced RS232 communication port. The chiller uses this port to communicate a comprehensive set of control parameters with a Host PC - these parameters are outlined below. This port is a 9-pin female d-sub connector and is found on the rear panel of the chiller (see Figure 3C and 3D).

    Pin 4 -EF: External Filter Option This option adds an external 5 micron filter to the ThermoCube coolant outlet for systems sensitive to particulate matter in the coolant. Note that this option also dampens coolant flow pulses, producing a smoother coolant flow.

The length of a warranty is product-specific, depending on the type and planned usage of the product, but will be specified in the quotation upon which a purchase order is made. Prototypes are not warranted, but will be repaired/adjusted after original shipment until they meet the agreed-upon specifications.
