LE TENS Terapia dell’elettrostimolazione: storia e tipo di correnti Le TENS furono sviluppate circa 250 anni fa. Nel 1745 il fisico tedesco Kratnsten pubblicò il primo libro sulla terapia d’elettrostimolazione. Jallabert e Maratof (Francia) descrissero come l’elettrostimolazione influenzasse la contrazione muscolare e come potesse essere applicata in presenza di paralisi motoria e sensoriale del sistema nervoso. - Page 15 Successivamente, altri ricercatori scoprirono attraverso esperimenti sugli animali, che il cervello produceva parecchie sostanze sedative di questo tipo. Fu scoperto poi che queste stesse sostanze, chiamate endorfine, vengono prodotte anche dal cervello umano. Esperimenti effettuati in Cina e in altri paesi hanno dimostrato che il trattamento più efficace si ottiene applicando un’e- lettrostimolazione inferiore ai 10 Hz fra gli arti.

Wie man den Stimulator benutzt Erstmalige Anwendung: Verbinden Sie die Elektroden mit den Anschlusskabeln und bringen Sie diese auf der Haut an. (Siehe hierzu "Positionierung der Elektroden" in diesem Handbuch) Schalten Sie den Stimulator an, indem Sie die Taste ON/OFF 3 Sekunden lang drücken. -

Batteriewechsel Versichern Sie sich, dass der Stimulator ausgeschaltet ist. Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefaches auf der Rückseite und legen Sie 3 Batterien des Typs 1.5V AAA - LR03 Alcaline ein. Schließen Sie den Deckel wieder. Achten Sie beim Einsetzen der neuen Batterien auf die richtige Ausrichtung im Batteriefach (folgen Sie den Plus (+) - und Minus (-) - Markierungen), da ein falsches Einsetzen der Batterien das Gerät beschädigen könnte. -

Wie bereits in diesem Handbuch beschrieben, hat das Gerät eine Kontrolle bezüglich der Stromzufuhr. Wenn man die Stromstärke auf 10 mA erhöht und der Stromkreis offen ist, dann stellt das Gerät automatisch den Wert auf 0 zurück. Deshalb muss man sich vor jeder Anwendung vergewissern, dass die Kabel angeschlossen sind, die Elektroden an den Stellen, die behandelt werden sollen, angebracht sind und dass diese nicht zu alt sind, da dies ihre Leitfähigkeit beein- trächtigen würde. -

Introducción de las pilas Asegurarse que el electroestimulador este apagado. Bajar la tapa de las pilas, situada detrás del dispositivo, para abrir el alojamiento de las pilas. Introducir 3 pilas de 1,5V tipo LRL03 alcalinas y cerrar el alojamiento. Las pilas deben ser colocadas con la correcta polaridad, indicada en el alojamiento. -

PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES Porqué regresa inmediatamente a 0 la intensidad cuando se aumenta su valor? El aparato dispone de un control de la alimentación de corriente. En el caso que se aumente el valor de la intensidad y el circuito este abierto (cables non conectados al aparato y electrodos no contactados con la piel), el aparato entra en protección automática. -
