Troubleshooting; Specifications - Harper HCM770 Manual

Turn to your local water board for information about the water hardness in
your area.
1 Fill the water tank half full with water and a liquid descaler. Do not
use a powder descaler! You can also use white vinegar (4% acetic
acid).
2 Let the appliance complete two brewing cycles.
3 Let the appliance complete two more brewing cycles with fresh, cold
water to remove all liquid descaler or vinegar residues.
4 Clean the separate parts (see chapter 'Cleaning').

Troubleshooting

-Check:
•that it is plugged in properly.
• that the on/off button (red indicator light on) is in the "ON" position.
• that the filter holder is locked in place correctly.
-The water flow-through time is too long or makes too much noise:
• descale your coffee maker.
If your appliance still doesn't work, please contact an authorized service
centre.
