Operation

Press the on/off button, the lights on and the coffee starts working.
You can take the carafe to serve a cup of coffee before all the water
has finished flowing through. Your coffee maker has a drip-stop
function to prevent the coffee flowing on the base.
To serve coffee, press the button of the thermal carafe to open the
spout to permit the flow of coffee.
Once finished serving coffee put the carafe into the coffee maker to
avoid spillage.
Press the on/off button to "off" position after the full passage of
water.
Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance before you start cleaning it.
Never immerse the appliance or the jug in water.
1. Clean the outside of the coffee maker with a moist cloth.
2. Detach the filter holder.
3. Clean the filter holder and the permanent filter in hot water with some
washing-up liquid.
4. Clean the inside of the thermos jug with a soft brush, hot water and
some washing-up liquid.
Do not clean the thermos jug in the dishwasher.

After cleaning, rinse the thermos jug with fresh hot water.
Tips: To remove stubborn brown deposits, fill the jug with hot
water and add a spoonful of soda. Leave the soda to do its work
for some time. Then empty the jug and remove the deposits with a
soft brush. Rinse the thermos jug with fresh hot water.
Descaling
Regular descaling will prolong the life of the appliance and will guarantee
optimal brewing results for a long time.
In case of normal use (two full jugs of coffee every day), descale the coffee
maker:
*once every month if you are using hard water;
*once every 4 months if you are using soft water.
