- Do not leave the appliance within reach
of children without supervision. Young
children or severely disabled persons
must always be supervised when using
this appliance.
- Check that the voltage rating of your
appliance correspond to that of your
household electrical wiring system.
This appliance is manufactured to conform to
the Low Voltage Electrical Equipment (Safety)
Regulations 1989 and is designed to comply
with BS 3456. It complies with the requirements
of the EEC Directive (89/336/EEC).
Any connection error will render the
guarantee void.
- Always handle the blade and discs with care:
they are extremely sharp.
- Only remove accessories once the
appliance has fully stopped.
- You must remove the blade (D) and the
spindle (C) before removing the contents
from the bowl.
- Never touch the moving parts when in use.
- Always use the pusher to insert food into
the feeder tube, never use fingers, fork, knife,
spoon or any other utensil.
- Never use the appliance empty, or if you
detect any fault (damaged mains lead, etc.)
Replacing the mains lead
- Any intervention other than regular cleaning
and maintenance by the customer, must be
carried out by a Moulinex approved service
centre (see list in the service booklet).
- Never put the appliance, mains lead or plug
in water or any other liquid.
- The mains lead must never be placed near
or in contact with the hot parts of your
appliance, close to a source of heat or on a
sharp edge.
- If the mains lead or the plug are damaged,
do not use your appliance. In order to avoid
any accident, they must be replaced by an
approved Moulinex Centre (see list in the
leaflet "Moulinex Service").
- Do not let the mains lead hang loose within
reach of children.
- Only use Moulinex spare parts
- Do not place any utensil which contains
metal in a microwave oven.
- Always disconnect the appliance when not
in use and when you clean it.
- Your appliance must only be used to prepare
food, and only inside the home.

Using your appliance

- Before using for the first time, wash all the
accessory parts in soapy warm water. Rinse
and dry.
- Place the motor unit on a flat, clean and dry
surface.
- Connect the appliance.
- Pulse (Intermittent Operation): press
button (A2) in short successive bursts for
easier control when preparing certain
ingredients.
- Continuous Operation: turn the speed
selector (A1) to required setting, "1 or 2".
- Stop: turn speed selector (A1) to setting "0".

SSEMBLING THE BOWL
The bowl is used with the following accessories:
(depends on model):
- Metal blade (D1), plastic kneader (D2),
grating/slicing discs (E), whipping disc (F),
citrus press (G), Juice extractor (K).
- If it is not already in position in the bottom of
the bowl, position the drive (B3a) in the bowl
(B3). Lock in the drive (B3a) with the nut
(B3b) up to the stop.
- Dismantle the whole unit and clean after
every use.

Depending on the type of food, the processor
bowl (B) allows you to process up to 1 000 g
of food.
ATTACHMENTS USED
- Bowl unit (B) - spindle (C) - blades (D1) or
(D2)
ASSEMBLY OF EQUIPMENT
- Position the bowl / drive (B3) unit on the
motor unit (A).
- Using the handle, turn until locked.
- Place the spindle (C) on the drive of the bowl
(B3a).
- Place the metal blade (D1) or the plastic
kneader (D2) on to the spindle (C) and slide
it to the bottom of the bowl.
- Place food in the bowl.
