Measuring Blood Pressure
Apply the blood pressure monitor
1. If your physician has diagnosed a weak blood circulation in one of your wrists, use
the other wrist.
2. If applicable, remove your watch, bracelets etc. from the wrist you want to place the
blood pressure monitor on. If necessary also loosely pull up your sleeve.
3. Stick your hand through the open cuff so that the blood pressure monitor points to
the inside of your open hand (upwards).
4. Place the edge of the cuff 1-2 cm below the hand edge, as shown in the figure.
5. With your hand open, fasten the cuff around your wrist so that there is no additional
space between the cuff and your skin.
If the cuff is not tight enough, there will be inaccurate measurement results.
