For best results, please locate your solar panel in a position where it can

shade.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If t he S olar M otion L ight d oes n ot i lluminate w hen m ovement i n f ront o f t he s ensor i s o bvious, p lease o bserve t he f ollowing:
Ensure t he s olar p anel i s i n a l ocation w here i t w ill r eceive m aximum s unlight d uring d aytime h ours.

Ensure t he l amp h ead i s a way f rom o ther l ight s ources. O ther l ight s ources a t n ight w ill p revent t he u nit f rom t urning o n.

Ensure s witch i s s et t o " AUTO" p osition.
•
Check b atteries a re i nstalled c orrectly.
•
Allow t he s olar p anel t o c harge t he b atteries i n d irect s unlight f or 3 d ays w ith t he s witch i n t he " OFF" p osition.

Replace B atteries.
•

BATTERY R EPLACEMENT
1. The B attery P ack i s l ocated i n t he B attery H ousing ( 11).
2. Turn t he S witch ( 8) t o t he " OFF" p osition. R emove t he f our s crews f rom t he B attery H ousing ( 11). S eparate t he B attery P ack c onnector.
Remove o ld B attery P ack. R eplace o nly w ith i dentical r echargeable B attery P ack ( 16).
3. Check c orrect p olarity o f b attery r eplacement.
4. Replace t he c over o f t he B attery H ousing ( 11). S ecure i t w ith t he f our s crews.
