Changing the user code:

To change the user code, follow these steps: (1) Press "#" [there will be two
quick green flashes] (2) Enter the master code [you will see several rapid green
flashes] (3) Press "02" [you will see several rapid green flashes] (4) Enter your
new 4 digit user code [you will see several rapid green flashes] Your new user
code is set.
***Please note: when utilizing any of the programming functions on your
digital lock, you must start each new step within 3 seconds of the last step or
the process will "time-out". This time-out will be shown by several rapid red
flashes***
"Public" and "Private" modes:
The GE370 is set to "Public" mode by default, which means you must enter the
user code once to unlock and enter it two times consecutively to lock after
turning the knob back to the locked position. You can change your lock to
"Private" mode which allows automatic locking. Once the code is entered to
unlock in Private mode, you will see orange flashes for 3 seconds (as shown in
the image below) and the lock automatically locks regardless of what position
the knob is in. This eliminates the need to enter the code again to lock.
Changing to "Private" mode:
To change to "Private" mode, follow these steps: (1) Press "#" [there will be
two quick green flashes] (2) Enter the master code [you will see several rapid
green flashes] (3) Press "09" [you will see several rapid green flashes] (4) Enter
your new 4 digit user code. Private mode has been set.
