3. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

3.1 It is necessary to observe the local legislation concerning use and in-
stallation of ethanol fireplaces.
3.2 Use only in a properly ventilated room.
3.3 Do not light or fill the burner with fuel when it is still hot.
 
Wait at least 15 minutes from the extinction before filling again the burner
with fuel and lighting it.
3.4 Keep any potentially combustible material away from the appliance.
3.5 It is prohibited to make any modification to the appliance.
3.6 Only accessories and spare parts supplied or recommended by the
manufacturer are allowed.
3.7 For the functioning of Horus bio-chimneys, we suggest to use "ethanol
for combustion in decorative fireplaces" that has a minimum concentration
at 96%.
3.8 The external parts of the fireplace and especially of the burner become
very hot during functioning, pay particular attention
 
3.9 The simultaneous lighting of several ethanol working appliances is al-
lowed if they do not exceed the nominal power of 4,5 kw/h, or if it can be
ensured an additional ventilation of the room.

3.10 Dry carefully any overflow of fuel, in the case it occurs, before procee-
ding with the ignition of the burner.
3.11 Regularly check the chimney and the housing of the burner, in order to
prevent deposits of fuel due to overfilling or accidental overflow that could
flare up during use.
3.12 This device is designed for intermittent and not continuous use.
3.13 Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
3.14 Use only the fuel recommended in paragraph 3.7.
 
3.15 Never leave the appliance unattended when lit.
3.16 For any kind of malfunction of the chimney, contact the Authorized
