Doing so could burn/ignite surfaces such as seats, carpeting, etc. and cause serious property damage. Only use Brinkmann’s 6V 55W halogen bulb that is designed for this rechargeable spotlight as a replacement. Use of any other bulb may result in poor performance and may damage your spotlight.
