Check the speed of rotation

1. Before putting JetVac into operation, check the rotations per minute (RPM). For maximum efficiency, the
JetVac wheels should turn at between 40 and 45 RPM.
2. Mark the side of the wheel with a piece of tape.
3. Switch the booster pump on and submerge JetVac. Count the wheel revolutions for one minute.

If the wheel rotates at less than 40 revolutions per minute:

• Check that there is no debris in the quick disconnect strainer.
Carry out a filter back wash and clean out the pre-filter basket and the skimmer(s).
• Check the hoses (A), (B) and (C) and the swivel unions (D) and (E) for leaks.
• If a valve is mounted on the booster return, open it fully to obtain max water flow rate to JetVac.
• If the problem persists despite these measures, increase the booster pump power.

If the wheel rotates at more than 45 revolutions per minute:

• If a valve is mounted on the booster pump return, close it gradually until the wheel RPM is within the correct
range.
