WHEN YOUR ANEMOMETER ARRIVES

Open the Package

When you open the package, you
should find your manual, your
anemometer, its carrying case and
lanyard, and an LIR2032 battery.

Install the Batteries

Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit by
turning the cover counter-clockwise. Insert the LIR2032
battery included with the anemometer. Make sure the
polarity is correct (the "+" side should face up).
And remember to put the cover back
on by turning the cover
clockwise.

  • Page 4 TROUBLESHOOTING My battery is empty. Can I replace it with the more common CR2032? No. The battery needed for the eA980R is a LIR2032 LITHIUM BATTERY (included). Replace it with a new LIR2032 or recharge it with a suitable charger. Do NOT use CR2032 batteries, their voltage is not high enough to operate the anemometer properly.
